Leadership Camp - Week 2

July 1 - 5, 2019


About the waitlist:When registering for the waitlist, you must complete the entire registration process. Your billing information will be verified, but you will not be charged until you are awarded a spot for camp. If you are awarded a spot, your card will be charged and you will receive an email confirmation. 

What are Leadership Camps?

Leadership Camps are for student-athletes who serve as leaders on their local campuses. The camp focuses on teaching practical skills for Christian growth, the development as an effective campus leader and the training for spiritual, organizational and motivational tools for use in the FCA Campus Ministry.

NOTE: FCA staff need to email to set up a Scholarship Code for their campers. 

Campers who wish to apply for a scholarship will need to contact your local FCA staff person. If you don’t know who that staff person is you can search via your zipcode here

Camp Info

WHO:  Students going into 7th-12th grades in the Fall 2019

DATES:  July 1-5, 2019

Registration Opens: February 2019

Registration Closes: June 24, 2019 (NOTE: This camp usually fills up the first week of June. It is recommended that you register as early as possible.)

WHERE:  Epworth by the Sea (100 Arthur J. Moore Drive, St. Simon's Island, GA 31522)

COST:  $390 Student Camper (Grades 7th-12th), Boys & Girls (this includes lodging, meals, camp t-shirt and bible)

$495 per Adult (this includes lodging, meals, camp t-shirt and bible)

$200 per non-camper child (12 & under)

$100 per non-camper child (2 & under)

DEPOSIT/FEES:  There is a required $100 deposit to register.  

All monies are refundable if you cancel before June 1st. There will be a $50 cancellation fee after that date. If you fail to cancel and do not show up for camp, the full $100 deposit is non-refundable.

To Make Additional Payments:

The system we use does not allow you to go back in and make payments on your own. To make a payment on your camper after you have registered and paid the deposit you can Pay via check by mailing a check payable to FCA to 

707 Cinnamon Fern Trl., St. Marys, GA 31558. 

**Please put the campers name and camp name in the memo as we have several different camps.

Easy to find, Epworth By the Sea is located on St. Simons Island, Georgia, approximately one hour from both Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. After reaching Brunswick, Georgia, take the F.J. Torras Causeway to St. Simons Island. At the end of the causeway stay in the left lane and continue around the roundabout to Sea Island Road. Go straight through the traffic light, staying on Sea Island Road. Turn left at the first street marked Hamilton Road and then right onto Arthur J. Moore Drive.

What to bring:

  • Modest athletic attire
  • Athletic shoes & running shoes
  • Sleeping bag or twin sheets (you may want to bring a single bed mattress cover)
  • Blanket

  • Water bottle
  • Small backpack

  • Swimsuit -Modest swim attire is required - ladies must wear a modest one-piece swimsuit or dark colored t-shirt over swimsuit. Bring a cover-up for walking to and from the pool

Ladies, please be sure to wear shorts that are an appropriate length. Shorts and shirts that are too short and/or revealing will not be allowed. Athletic tank tops are allowed as long as there are no undergarments showing.

Gentlemen, please be sure to wear shorts and shirts that are also appropriate. Tank tops are allowed if they are not cut offs or have been altered in any way. Shorts that show undergarments will not be allowed.
