Adventure Camp

June 26 - 30, 2017

Action packed days of river kayaking, ropes courses, zip lines, rock climbing walls, and a Beach Adventure Challenge involving water, sand and surf!  All this plus great teaching, singing and small group Bible Study at Epworth by the Sea, St. Simons Island.  Adventure campers will meet with FCA's Leadership Camp in the morning and at night for large group team meetings featuring great testimonies, worship and nationally known speakers.  Only 25 Adventure Campers will be accepted so don't wait to sign up.  This camp is a bargain at $450.  All housing, food, island transportation, activities and secondary insurance included in that fee.  Plus, an FCA Bible and t-shirt to take home.

Camp Info:

WHO:  Boys & Girls ages 14-18.

*** MUST be a good swimmer.  

(Only 25 campers will be accepted)

DATES:  June 26 - 30, 2017

WHERE:  Epworth by the Sea, St. Simon's Island, GA

COST:  $450

DEPOSIT/FEES:  There is a required $100 deposit to register.  

All monies are refundable if you cancel before June 1st. There will be a $50 cancellation fee after that date. If you fail to cancel and do not show up for camp, the full $100 deposit is non-refundable.

Directions

Easy to find, Epworth By the Sea is located on St. Simons Island, Georgia, approximately one hour from both Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. After reaching Brunswick, Georgia, take the F.J. Torras Causeway to St. Simons Island. At the end of the causeway stay in the left lane and continue around the roundabout to Sea Island Road. Go straight through the traffic light, staying on Sea Island Road. Turn left at the first street marked Hamilton Road and then right onto Arthur J. Moore Drive.

  • Modest athletic attire
  • Clothes & shoes you don't mind getting wet
  • Athletic shoes & running shoes
  • Sleeping bag or twin sheets (you may want to bring a single bed mattress cover)

  • Swimsuit -Modest swim attire is required - ladies must wear a modest one-piece swimsuit or dark colored t-shirt over swimsuit. Bring a cover-up for walking to and from the pool

Ladies, please be sure to wear shorts that are an appropriate length. Shorts and shirts that are too short and/or revealing will not be allowed. Athletic tank tops are allowed as long as there are no undergarments showing.

Gentlemen, please be sure to wear shorts and shirts that are also appropriate. Tank tops are allowed if they are not cut offs or have been altered in any way. Shorts that show undergarments will not be allowed.
